Float Learning and Bradley University’s Department of Interactive Media in the Slane College of Communications and Fine Arts teamed up to provide a one-day event focused on mobile on Friday, June 10, 2011. Industry-leading speakers on user experience, learning and strategy presented an invaluable amount of information about mobile design, development and strategy. Marketing departments, learning departments and IT professionals benefitted from the actionable information they could take back to their organizations to invigorate their own mobile efforts. Two tracks focused on Business and Strategy, as well as Design and Development.

Kevin Hoyt, a platform evangelist for Adobe Systems, Inc., said that Adobe’s mission is to enable its customers to deliver compelling content across media and devices. Topics in Going Mobile with Adobe ranged from the mobile development features of Dreamweaver CS 5.5 to the cross-platform savviness of Flash Player, the Flex framework and Adobe AIR. Hoyt delivered content across six different devices that included iOS, Android and BlackBerry PlayBook.

Passionate about engaging user experiences as he is, you’ll most often find Hoyt meeting with customers, speaking at conferences, presenting online seminars or just enjoying the chance to share ideas and brainstorm with other developers.
