ADL announced the winners of their Learning App Challenge last week during the Interagency Mobile Learning Webinar Series.
Tappestry, Float’s enterprise social network for learning, was awarded as the Best Industry App for its use of the Experience API to track informal and social learning opportunities.
Chad Udell accepted the award during the webinar series, providing a brief demonstration of the application. As soon as the agency posts the videos form the series, Float will post them here on our blog.
Earlier this year, Tappestry received Best Of Show from the eLearning Guild’s mLearning DemoFest.
Tappestry is available for free through the Apple App Store and Google Play.
The Best Government Award went to the CDC for its Solve the Outbreak app, and the Mixed Emerging Technology Integration Lab (METIL) at the University of Central Florida’s Institute for Simulation and Training won Best Academic Award.
