Float Lead Developer Daniel Pfeiffer is scheduled to speak twice at the 360iDev conference next week.

The sixth annual conference is being held Aug. 24-27 in Denver, Colo., and is designed to provide the iOS community with a place to come together and share ideas.

At 3:45 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 24, Daniel presents Offline is Not a Special Case. In this session, he will cover topics including:

  • the importance of an app’s existence beyond the bounds of the device

  • strategies for caching responses from network requests

  • queuing network requests until an Internet connection is available

Then, his Writing Reusable Code session at 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 27, will cover the following:

  • the principles of writing reusable and modular code

  • what code is reusable

  • what code is app specific
