This week during DevLearn, we celebrate the release of Float’s latest book, “Mastering Mobile Learning: Tips and Techniques for Success” (Wiley, ASTD Press).

Edited by Dr. Gary Woodill and Chad Udell, this book has been written over the last several years by Float’s team of designers, developers and consultants.

“Mobile learning isn’t a fad,” ATD CEO Tony Bingham says in the foreword. “It is time for the learning profession to dive in, and Chad and Gary are pointing the way.”

The book offers perspectives that are grounded in hard-won experience and expertise.

“We know the tips in the book are effective,” Chad said, “because we use them in the work we produce for our industry-leading clients.”

Excerpts of “Mastering Mobile Learning” have appeared on the ATD Learning Technologies blog:

As such, it’s an ideal addition to your bookshelf and infinitely shareable with your larger team – whether they be instructional designers or executives.

“It’s an approachable, multifaceted book that will take you far in your pursuit to successfully strategize, design, develop and deliver mobile learning to your organizations,” Chad said.
