Float Managing Director Chad Udell spoke at the Learning Solutions Conference and Expo in Orlando, Florida. The event saw a large turnout and featured notable speakers, such as scientist Bill Nye and TIME Magazine writer Annie Murphy Paul.

The conference is focused on how businesses can leverage technology to positively impact learning and training in the enterprise. Tracks  focused on key innovations in areas like performance support, data measurement, and virtual classrooms.

Chad’s session, The Missing Link – Data Interoperability From Learning Systems to Operations, addressed the problems that occur due to numerous cloud LMS vendors failing to talk to each other in organizations paired with the transformative state of the xAPI and CMI5. Those in attendance were able to learn why this disconnect happens, and how they work with their partners to integrate enterprise technology with learning technology in time for the incoming wave of data. Attendees enjoyed the session:

Prior to the Learning Solutions Conference and Expo, Learning Solutions Magazine Editor Bill Brandon interviewed Chad for their Learning Leaders series. Chad talks about how he wound up in the mobile enterprise, the Experience API, and what technology he is most excited to apply to learning.
