Have you ever wondered what industries are interested in mobile learning? Have you been curious if the industry you work in is currently working toward or seeking information on mobile learning? Float knows who’s interested! Let’s take a look.
Since 2010, Float has been writing, publishing and sharing information about mobile learning with the entire learning and development community. Looking back through our records at what types of companies frequently visit our website and download our content, we thought it would be an interesting way to gauge interest and share with the community. Through studying that information, we have determined which vertical markets are most interested in mobile, microlearning and mobile apps for performance support.
After doing a little data mining, we’ve compiled a list of the Top 10 Industries who are interested in mobile learning. We looked at key metrics like the content industry, site visits, and documents downloaded from each industry. We think this is a pretty interesting little dataset, and plan to dig in more over the next few weeks to uncover details on what work is currently going on in the industry and what types of projects Float have completed in the areas.
Here are the results:
- Defense and Space
- Mining and Metals
- Government Administrative Agencies
Are you in one of these industries and currently producing great mobile content? We’d love to hear about it! Drop us a line in the comments, or on Twitter, and send us your examples. Check back with us soon, as we continue to add information regarding these industries and how they harness mobile learning.
